Beso Music Academy, the educational division of Brandnew Consulting Group, hosted its annual Studio Gala 2025 at Riverton Piano Studio in Peoria, Arizona, bringing together more than 100 attendees—including students, parents, staff and friends— to celebrate a year of artistic growth, collaboration, and community.
This year’s gala highlighted the dedication and progress of Beso students as they presented a diverse repertoire showcasing both classical and contemporary works. The evening underscored the Academy’s distinctive approach to music education—an approach that integrates artistry, discipline, and individualized mentorship in a nurturing environment.
The program featured a range of performances across instruments and styles, culminating in two original student compositions: “A Dream of Wonders” by Joseph Novak and “Reflections” by Alex Smith, both of which drew enthusiastic applause from the audience for their technical finesse and expressive depth.
Guest singer Swasthi Arasaiah graced the stage with a soulful rendition of “Piano Man,” adding a moment of reflection and warmth that resonated deeply with students and families alike.
Each performer—and their families—was recognized for their unwavering commitment to the study of music and their shared belief in the transformative power of disciplined artistic practice.
In her opening remarks, Sophia Zhou, MM, DMA, executive director of Beso Music Academy and Lead Faculty Clinician at Brandnew Consulting Group, reflected on the year’s achievements and the enduring spirit of collaboration that defines the Beso community. “Tonight is more than a recital—it’s a celebration of the journey each student has taken,” Dr. Zhou said. “Every note performed this evening represents hours of practice, moments of doubt overcome, and the courage to express oneself through music. That courage, paired with our structured, clinician-guided approach, is what makes Beso truly unique.”
Dr. Zhou also acknowledged the support of families and faculty whose mentorship and encouragement have sustained the Academy’s vision: to craft musicians who are not only technically proficient, but also empathetic, reflective, and connected to their art.
Studio Gala 2025 reflected Beso Music Academy’s core mission—to nurture creativity through structure, and excellence through empathy. Each performance served as a living example of the Academy’s distinctive model, inspired by the clinical methodology of Brandnew Consulting Group, where individualized instruction, diagnostic precision, and holistic care converge to support student success.
